Rex Nielson, a seasoned, retired, law enforcement officer, now devotes his time to the many passions of his life. After seeing 31 years of police work, Rex chose to literally draw another life for himself and his loved ones by sharing his art and vision for capturing his inner child’s eye. Rex never uses graphic software but rather chooses to put pen to paper the old-fashioned way believing that he captures his mind’s eye best with his own hands. After illustrating a children’s book by 28 Days Haunted star, Aaron G. Thompson entitled Boo Who, A Ghost’s Crier Story, he was commissioned by another paranormal celebrity. Legends, Myths, and Mysteries of the Cherokee and Iroquois, by Leitreanna Brown, features many children’s stories, myths, legends, and features Rex’s art in the pages. After his family and friends diligently supported Rex’s art, a publisher saw Rex’s abilities and offered to publish Rex’s art in his first book entitled Unexplainable Art by Rex Neilson.
